Yoshan is an Electrical Engineer based in Johannesburg. His career spans over nine years in electronic safety systems across the aviation to mining industries. His drive for knowledge in the technology space involved combining methodologies used in air, underground and surface equipment to assist in the journey to zero harm. Yoshan joined Hexagon in 2018 as a Support Engineer and is now the Technical Account Manager supporting key customers, assisting in technical sales, ensuring product development roadmaps are communicated to clients and bridging the gap between human error and fail-safe technology.
Simphiwe Tswai
Business development manager, Hexagon's Mining division
Simphiwe has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management. Her career in the mining industry spans over 10 years, selling mining software technologies across different commodities in the sub-Saharan region. Simphiwe joined Hexagon in 2017 as a Sales Accounts Manager and is now a Business Development Manager looking after new business in Central and Southern Africa. She has been assisting gold, copper, uranium diamond and manganese mines digitize their load and haul activities, increase data integrity, reduce production cost and improve safety performance with the deployment of our life-of-mine technologies.
